So because I feel incapable of watching TO/TVD without doing a reaction post, it kept getting put off, but I’m finally getting to it.

-Since I don't have much in the way of TV shows to talk about right now (and even less after GoT ends for the season) what have I been watching? Baseball of course. My Rockies are doing way better this year than last tear so it's fun to watch them again (they're always my team, but last year it sort of stopped being appointment viewing to watch the games). But so far this season it's still appointment TV most evenings.

-Also, apparently my dad has been reading ASOIAF, and asked for my GoT DVDs the other day. We've got tickets to a ballgame next week so I may spend part of the late drive home getting his thoughts so far (I'm sure it hasn't been as surprising to him as it should have been since my mom and I have been discussing stuff around him for a while now so he probably got to certain things and remembered that he'd heard about it a couple years ago).

-My scifibigbang fic is...progressing. I've rewritten this (probably) closing section almost as much as I rewrote the opening. I think I'm going to leave the smutty bits for a follow-up to be written later unless the talky parts really start coming easier and I feel I have the time/inclination/story room to add it to the goal of this fic. Unless that happens it's not going to be any too long, but should make the 25k requirement.

-Also, GODS DAMN DO I HATE THIS POST EDITOR, THIS IS WHY I WRITE MY ACTUAL THOUGHTS IN A SEPARATE PROGRAM, WHICH MEANS I SOMETIMES FORGET HOW AWFUL IT IS WHEN I DECIDE TO JUST WRITE QUICK POSTS IN IN POST EDITOR WINDOW. And yes, that whole thought needed capslock, I REALLY HATE THIS, WHY DID LJ DO THIS TO ME?!?!?!?!?

Okay, so there’s a few updates on some of my ongoing projects (if people are all that interested) here, but then there’s real life stuff again.

1) I had really good plans of writing this weekend, so far I've come closer to vidding (in that I'm prepping some stuff for future vidding). I can't even blame the muses for this one because they're around, I just can't seem to make myself do anything with them.

2) A quote from my sister "So I watched the first half of Doctor Who season 6; it's really not good." I haven't gotten to season 6 yet myself (I will one day...probably) but that's a further reason not to. Sis isn't even that big a DW fan to begin with and even she's disappointed by s6.

3) I thought I'd check in regarding my Buffy rewatch before I hit the Angelus arc.

So yeah, Merry Christmas everyone (I'm a little early for me to be saying it but I may not have time tomorrow). Whether that means the religious bit of it or just a good time to spend with family and friends, the sentiment is the same (since I fall in the later category myself).
