So it's been a while, let's see how this goes.

Obviously I've gotten away from my reviewing this season; then again the only things I might review are Arrow and The Good Place and neither have inspired me to write much about them so far. The Good Place is as good as ever; and Arrow has been pretty solid and mostly enjoyable this season.

But there is something about this last episode I felt inclined to talk about, so the likely brief return of the reaction post.

So...I appear to have wrong abut everything. I made a whole lot of speculation and basically none of it came to pass.

Long take to follow eventually, when I can figure out much to say about this; I don't know how much speculation I'll even attempt at this point.

I thought since we’re going into the season finales this week, I might post my thoughts from the penultimate episodes (of the only two shows I’m still watching each week) to get them out there before the ending.

So the Rockies ended the season as they passed so much of it, losing to a team they should have beaten because the bullpen couldn’t keep it together. But as I commented to some other people recently; sure the Rockies were mediocre this season, that’s about three steps better than the last few seasons.

But anyway, I did watch Supergirl once it got to Netflix, and I did finish it up in time for the new season to start (I still have a few episodes of the other DC-CW shows to go), I started out recording my thoughts but then only did so when I actually had something to say, and I guess I’ll finally post them for anyone interested.

I want to do a few state-of-the-show updates about things I’ve been watching. Some of these thoughts have been idling for a few weeks, some are fresher, but here goes.

( AC, AoS, Arrow, Jane, Once, P&R, Reign, Community, GoT; some spoilers, mostly light )

Since Castle 7x10 was a Christmas episode and had a very lead-into-hiatus feel, I’m going to assume this is a good time to give my thoughts on the season so far.

It’s pretty obvious this is the last episode of Agents of SHIELD for a while, so thoughts on that season so far.

And then tonight was a pretty clear break point for Arrow, so might as well discuss that.

I’m behind on Reign so I may not be able to give my up to date thoughts there. I suspect Saving Hope only has another episode or two before it goes on break. Korra is coming to an end soon and I am cautiously optimistic they can pull this into something great; but I will have to post some thoughts once it’s over, because I have thoughts I’ve never really gone into before. And I've kind of put off any Downton thoughts until after the Christmas episode depending on what ends up happening then.

What shows (especially new ones) are people watching this season that I should watch? Like I said, I think I’ll finally watch Flash, maybe catch up on TVD and TO, maybe the first block of Revenge this season. That may be enough to keep me occupied for a bit, but I’m open to suggestions.

I don’t know quite what Castle as a show has become, but damn do I like it.

Now if only some of my other shows could make me quite so happy I’d be over the moon.

Hmm, I think I have thoughts about the finale, though it’ll probably turn into a lot of thoughts about the season as a whole. Or at least end up one of my long ranbly reviews.
