So the best I could do on short notice is getting down a compressed version of my view of how the CW's 'Crisis on Infinite Earths' should have ended for Oliver. Because it makes no sense for him to have been dead at the end of that story. And yes, I used a modified/truncated

1sentence format because the snapshot format really does help me...skip stones across a fic idea without needing to get down in the depths of it. Also, obviously unbeted, not even properly edited by me (if I end up expanding it or something I would need to do both) and basically rushed out and posted before I had time to convince myself it wasn't worth sharing even for this challenge.

So it's been a while, let's see how this goes.

Obviously I've gotten away from my reviewing this season; then again the only things I might review are Arrow and The Good Place and neither have inspired me to write much about them so far. The Good Place is as good as ever; and Arrow has been pretty solid and mostly enjoyable this season.

But there is something about this last episode I felt inclined to talk about, so the likely brief return of the reaction post.

You know, only having about one show each week that I feel like writing reviews for means it takes a while to get to a length where I feel I ought to bother posting said reactions. On the other hand in considerably less than the amount of time I sat on these, I watched both versions of Fullmetal Alchemist and didn’t do reviews of them (I might need to, I have some things I’d kind of like to say), so that’s more where my mind has been.

I’m really only watching three shows right now, and basically only doing reviews for one of them (and I missed one of those). I do have some thoughts on where Crazy Ex-Girlfriend might go before the end, but nothing formed enough to do any reactions to. I’m just enjoying The Good Place, and only felt the need to comment on a couple things so far. Arrow, I tend to need to work through my thought on still it seems. As you can seem I’m not sure how I’m feeling about this season, it shows promise, but I’m not loving it either; it is a show that I often don’t know how I feel until I have a sizable portion of the season picture to judge.

But, here’s what I have so far.

I’m not really watching a lot of shows right now, though I keep watching TXF and there’s baseball most nights.

This is pretty much just the shows I usually review, I’ve been watching several other things but not reviewing them because I was moving through them quickly. I’m now caught up on Jane the Virgin (I still like the show just no real thoughts on it as I go through it), have watched most of s2 of The Crown (I’ll probably keep watching the series, but there’s very little I actually like about it), and have watched most of Victoria (it’s a lot like The Crown but I think I like it a little more, but that may just be that I’m newer to it); and comparing those last two will probably need some thoughts once I am caught up. I am not, however, caught up on Supergirl or Flash, but I’m enjoying watching other things a lot more so they can wait.

Hmm, it seems like everyone that was left on lj is up and moving to Dreamwidth in one big push. Which is fair, and I'll probably start doing more with that once I figure out how I want to handle it. I have been just using my DW account as a fanfic journal while I keep my various chatter to lj. But lj is already dead enough, more people leaving means I should find some way to actually follow at least the edges of fandom (since I refuse to tumblr or twitter).

So if you have a DW account that I should follow (either with my existing account or as I decide what to do with this migration) let me know.

-How had it escaped my notice that we're less than a month from Age of Ultron coming out? I could blame the year flying by, but this year has seemed oddly paced to me so far so I don't know. Or I could blame AoS, since it doesn't feel like we're heading into the machine apocalypse at all (but it also doesn't feel like it's killing time until the big event comes along to shake things up this time).

-I did watch the two part finale of Glee. I can't decide if it makes me any more likely to go back and actually watch the last few seasons, but it being over and able to be judged as a finished product does make me consider it. ( small spoiler )

b5rewatch since I do still have the community sitting around, though it was always meant to be used if I could drum up a team to watch with. I figure I'll end up posting links periodically on whichever one I'm not primarily posting to, but I can't make up my mind which way to handle it.

So, this week in TV...

So there I am plotting out a new story and trying to get some ideas straight in my head, when one of the characters asks the other “Why did you ask me to do this?” and the whole thing falls apart. Damn it characters, stop expecting each other to be logical, it seemed like such a good idea when I thought it up.

On a related topic, I think I should do a semi-annual B5 rewatch soon. Anyone looking for an excuse to re/watch with me?

Since Castle 7x10 was a Christmas episode and had a very lead-into-hiatus feel, I’m going to assume this is a good time to give my thoughts on the season so far.

I’m behind on Reign so I may not be able to give my up to date thoughts there. I suspect Saving Hope only has another episode or two before it goes on break. Korra is coming to an end soon and I am cautiously optimistic they can pull this into something great; but I will have to post some thoughts once it’s over, because I have thoughts I’ve never really gone into before. And I've kind of put off any Downton thoughts until after the Christmas episode depending on what ends up happening then.

What shows (especially new ones) are people watching this season that I should watch? Like I said, I think I’ll finally watch Flash, maybe catch up on TVD and TO, maybe the first block of Revenge this season. That may be enough to keep me occupied for a bit, but I’m open to suggestions.
