Author’s Notes (flashback): Probably written late 2001/early 2002, since it’s dealing with Tabula Rasa issues. This one is...weird, there’s no other word as good for it. It’s WEIRD. I don’t think I’ve ever tried something like this since, even though I’d forgotten all about it in the last decade it’s probably why I would never try it again. It’s not bad, but I’m not sure it’s good either, just weird.

"Giles is depressed, he goes to the 'Espresso Pump' (yay!) and sings (some depressing song), the Scoobies (the CORE Scoobies show up and wonder why he looks so sad (they obviously don't know what happened (keep them in the dark).
Buffy shows up, looking horrible (like she's been crying or whatever, 'cause she feels bad for what she did (shame on her!) and she sees Giles singing. (They don't notice the Scoobies are there, so they start talking. (with comments from the Scoobies wondering what's going on)
Can someone write this? I need a good fic after this episode. :) And smoochies! And a staking of Spike wouldn't hurt."

Author’s Notes (flashback): This one was probably written some time between LMPTM and the end of season 7. I’m actually not as ashamed of this one as I expected to be by all these old fics, I’d completely forgotten I wrote it though so it was kind of a new experience to revisit. I would accuse it of being a little preachy about characterization, but I think a lot of us were feeling that way at the time. Also, songfics were in at the time.
