So we have a short fic, a long fic, and a vid, good range.
Dangerous But Fun
-I don’t often write true PWP and this is completely and utterly PWP so I like that it proves I can do it.
-I like that it precedes me actually realizing I wanted Elena/Klaus hate sex on the show but I still did it here.
-While I know it’s primarily because it isn’t concerned with characterization, I like that it comes off as being set in the future (Elena comes off more mature, the situation between the three of them feels more settled – until they decide to all have sex at least – etc.) so you can’t exactly say it couldn’t happen.
Though Memory Imperfect
-I like that John and Anne ended up being cute enough that one kind of feels bad to see the Doctor and Rose come back to being themselves. It’s what you want but you kind of wish John and Anne could just be nice and happy too.
-I like that my version of Martha seems to have resonated with a lot of people even though I’m not the biggest Martha fan. I think it was sympathetic without going too far into “poor me” territory which was sometimes a difficult line to walk.
-I like the ending; I like bringing things (especially the Bad Wolf idea) full circle and how it was always Rose’s story.
The Eleventh Hour
-I like some of the dialog play, even if it is kind of obvious I suppose.
-I like that, aside from the dance scene and maybe the birthday scene which I kept coming back to for obvious reasons, I used a fairly good range of clips rather than just the obvious ones.
-As usual, I just like to think I demonstrate that WMM can make fine videos if you get more into the character and emotion rather than the effects editing. Not that I think this is my best work or a real strong example of that, but I usually like it just fine.
