While it's not my favorite show ever, the character I most want out of my memory of ever having existed is Spike from Buffy. Anytime I see Marsters in any other role (and he has a habit of showing up on shows I watch) I don't deal with it well because all I can think is "GRRRR, I HATE YOU SPIKE!!!!" It's like the reverse of stunt casting, as it makes me want to turn away from the show when he shows up.

And please god let Buffy stake him (that might do something for the lingering case of Spike-hate for him to be taken out like that).
