I suppose I haven't posted this week's TV round up, but have some more Star Trek reviews.

So a decent chunk of my f-list is flailing about the new Star Trek trailer and...I’m not. I guess I’m glad the movie is coming sooner rather than later at this point, as I’m sure I’ll see it once it does, but nothing about the trailer itself makes me all that happy.

But then a lot of that’s that ST 2009 was kind of meh with me. It showed potential, but very little about it really grabbed me. And that which did, say the fact that I did get a little hooked by the shipping (Kirk/McCoy and Spock/Uhura that is), is up against me being REALLY pissed off that they killed off the real Trek-verse - I’m a TNG/DS9 kid and I was pissed off enough that we were going back to the TOS crew instead of forward but to basically destroy that universe really angers me.

-I’m also kind of annoyed by the guys from Sherlock are getting so much action these days, somehow it feels like validating Moffat and I don’t want to be part of anything that validates Moffat.-

Anyway, in contrast to say the Iron Man 3 trailer which made me go “NEEDS TO COME OUT NOW” this just made me go “Oh, so it’s coming out next year, that’s cool I guess.”

Probably be back later with TVD thoughts, is it too much to hope for a good episode tonight so I can be positive about something?

(ETA: I knew the answer to that last question was yes, but I did not quess just how bad it would be)
