TW 2x07 reaction post

jedi_of_urthWell I finally got around to watching last week's episode, and before moving on to this week's I thought I'd write down a couple of thoughts.
This was a pretty good ep for Owen, Tosh, and in parts Jack. Gwen was a bit sparse but okay, and Ianto was kind of sidelined but at least did not engage in one of his breakdowns that makes people laugh at him.
Martha however was...there. Which, okay she doesn't really *know* Owen so you wouldn't expect her to have the kind of reaction the others have but besides the fact that she couldn't just disappear from Torchwood so quickly after Reset there was no use for her being in the episode. Also, apparently the TARDIS is no longer translating languages for her (Jack wasn't around when it came up so we can't say with regards to him).
Nothing yet has convinced me that the dark space after death isn't the Void, and things keep coming out of it. Okay maybe this isn't quite working with my former theory that the something in the dark was Rose trying to get back to this universe, but there's a lot of things lurking in the Void so the something in the dark coming for Jack could still be Rose.
See, said I'd keep it short this time, have another episode to watch.
