A few comments and a few topics
-I've discovered that I write the Sheriff acting much like I'd write the Master, cruel and spiteful just because, and enjoying it. And smart enough to know how to get inside people's heads and mess them up royally.
-On that note Sheriff/Master (slash or teamup) would be totally awesome. It they didn't kill each other/drive each other more crazy first.
-Writing Guy's conflict between loyalty to the Sheriff and loyalty to Marian is a bit like being able to externalize the Doctor's conflict between his own darker and lighter sides.
-Which really, the Doctor is kind of a combination of Robin and Guy, he seems more like Robin but scratch the surface and he's got the same temperament and conflicts as Guy. Which makes me wonder how Marian would deal with the Doctor (I think Rose would whip both Robin and Guy into shape) I kind of think in her eyes he'd be a combination of all the things she doesn't like about either of them...which I am totally *not* going to write crossover fic. Nope, won't do it...(though Rose and Marian would be great friends, being awesome together)...
-I wanted to write Ten/Rose fluff, why won't my mind let me think of fluff rather than angst? I'm tired of writing angst.
-I'm starting to realize I should respect drabble writers more, I take 200 words just to set a scene up much less get to the point (alright I did once write a 101 word fic but it was a fluke).
-I'm very close to saying I don't care about next season because I'm starting to think...I've already seen this in DW season 3 (better done than it would surely be in RH which is saying something considering my DW S3 issues). Somewhere between Robin's eventual rage and Guy's inevitable guilt there's the Doctor's grief for Rose. Seriously if one of them pushes someone into a well I'm going to predict the next step is turning Will into a scarecrow.
-That and, well the fact remains that as much as Guy and Allan came out and made me love them a lot more last season, Marian was my favorite and both of those other character arcs got short circuited in the finale.
You know Torchwood needs to start up so I have a different cheesy British show to rant about.
