And now, with new news I felt the need to revive it with a new tagline

I'm kind of impressed with me for getting the colors so close to matching.



Fannish-project brains update:

Why is Gridlock so impossible for me to finish recapping? Come on recap brain, after this I'll let you either take a break or I don't know, recap "Rose" or something, wouldn't that make you happy? I know Gridlock has broken you but we meed to finish.

If I could kick my writing brain into gear I'm pretty sure I finally worked out the end of my Alt-Five fic that I've been working on for freaking ever is seems. Although this is only Part 1 at that, but the other parts are their own issue (and will probably require less skiency reasoning to make them work). Other than that no significant fic writing movement, although I am hit by the desire to write fluff (gee, wonder why that is).

Vid brain has actually been working though. Should be new vid soon and I already have the next song in mind (well I had a few options already, but just found a new song that just seemed to call out for it).
Current song (as the chat crew has heard me comment on)
Next song, probably, although as yet I haven't figured out whose POV to make it, it seems at least as much Doctor POV as Rose even though it is a female singer.

There will be new pictures, several months from now admittedly but there will be new pictures. I expect cuteness.

And yeah, Gridlock never seemed this awful until I recapped it, but now... I suppose I could just post the text I have written without pictures, but that feels wrong to me, I've already done the hard work but I wind up having to watch parts of it again for getting pictures, I think that's the problem.

I can't wait to see the finished project for your current vid! :D Oh and another song in my mind already! Whoo Hoo. That one does have a nice balance of the two characters in its lyrics. I'm sure you'll find a great way to vid it!

Good luck with the Gridlock recap. The only thing that I really remember about it was the kitty scene. I think I've seen the confidential clip more times than the actual episode. ^_^"

I can NOT wait to see this reunion hug, if it isn't the most squee inducing thing ever I'll be surprised, unless they have to do it off-screen to preserve the children's program standard.

And I'm going to have to remember to mention you when I post the vid for encouraging this somewhat crackish idea and encouraging it even. And the possible next song is...happy. It's so strange, it's been so long since I made a happy vid I think that might have something to do with why it rocketed up the possible songs list. I can probably get away with not using Doomsday footage, I have no idea how many times I've sat through the lever room/wall scene/beach scene in bits and pieces working out clips, but it never gets less heartbreaking.

And the Gridlock recap is what caused me to realize how little I must have been paying attention before because the episode does not work for me, but it has kittens and DT doing some really stellar acting that when just watching distracts from the lameness, when 'seriously' (in quotes as not to sound pretentious) recapping I have to pay attention to the whole thing.

Oh and if the first take does go beyond the children's program standard I'm sure that maybe we can force RTD to use that as a special easter egg for all of us and they can always do another take that meets the standard. ;)

I reiterate I'm sure the video will be great! And aww shucks with the mention. :D Oh and a happy video!! That should be a nice and fun change actually.

And speaking of vids are you, as a vidder, eager to get your hands on whatever new footage that comes along with S4? Even if the footage, for some unknown reason is depressing (RTD better make us all happy)? Or do you like the challenge of finding new ways of integrating the previous scenes together? *is curious* :D

And yeah Gridlock is somewhat difficult to pay attention to. I haven't watched it since SciFi aired it awhile back but I remember being on the computer most of the time while catching glimpses here and there. Maybe you can reward yourself with the last bit of capping with lots of Doctor and Rose episodes! :D

Oh I still want to *see* the reunion hug, but if it quickly moves off screen...actually might be a bit out of character for it to be do to children's programming issues but they have a lot to talk about Though damn it I want to see the talk too, and *then* you can cut away because of the programming requirements.

Hmm...a bit of both I suppose. I mean I don't use S3 clips all that often because there's a limited number I find useful for the vids I want to make so just having new footage doesn't mean it's useful (I don't really use clips out of context, I have a couple ideas for AU story vids but have never actually done one); and I don't see more depressing footage being all that inspiring to me (Doomsday was, but again the number of times I actually use S3 footage); and there are times I don't even get to use all the clips I know I could (my biggest regret on "Angels Lead Them Home" was never getting to use the clip of Jackie kissing the Doctor).

However, the option of more footage isn't something I'd turn away easily as a vidder. However, either way, once she comes back I think the sort of vidding I do might change some; we'll see I guess.
