Alright, I was holding off doing another motivator post until after Family of Blood aired (at least we'll pretend that was the driving reason) because this series was made in my initial flailing over Dark-Doctor and I think it still needs repeating.

And a happy one to end on:

Oh, only DW can make me swing from disapproval to fear to hysterical laughter.

Brilliant! Thanks for sharing.

Okay, this? IS TOTALLY GENIUS.

I was reading the first two and thinking to myself: "Yeah... but... but... dark!Ten is hot." And then you were all: "He thinks it's HOT!" And I nearly died from laughter.

But, also. Holding-Rose's-hand-and-being-adorable!Ten is hot, too. *misses him*

dark!ten is indeed hot, but i like him in very small quantities, he looks better when he's happy, adorable and geeky.

btw. i LOVE the icon!

I do like dark!ten, but it's really heartbreaking to see him just slide away from the man(time lord?) he used to be. As much as I like Martha in the new series, he just isn't himself without his Rose. I think that she's the reason why he smiles so much.
but damn, dark!ten is sizzling sometimes!!!

These are PERFECT. I remember the first time I watched the end of FoB. I just stared at the screen in horrid fascination. No, Rose would not approve. If Rose were to see him like this, she would give him a nice kick in the arse. And then hug him for the next two years straight.

Yes, please. Pretty please with...something really good on top.

Edible ball bearings? We know from Fear Her that he likes those :)

That's the ticket, that's exactly how you say pretty please to the Doctor.

But I'll bet that if your name's not Rose then The Doctor's still likely to say "no" ;)

Now there's a new CaféPress shirt that needs to be made: 'A Message to the Doctor: Please Stop Being Evil'

XD

Utterly brilliant - I was torn between laughter and tears, and that hug montage is just gorgeous.

If you do this kind of thing a lot, would you be interested in my copy of Photoshop 7.0 after I upgrade to CS3? I should be able to transfer the license easily enough.

I'll probably put up a post once I've got CS3 in my hot little hands and let whoever wants the various bits of older versions ping me at that point. I'll have Photoshop 7.0 (which comes with ImageReady for animating icons, I mean GIFs), Acrobat 5.0, and Illustrator 10.0 up for grabs. The only part of the suite I won't be letting go of is PageMaker, since I still have that for some legacy materials.

Rock! I love these!

Evil does look good on him, doesn't it...and I never made the connection to that conversation in Fear Her.

Wah, I miss Rose!

The thing is, that's not an evil face.

Those eyes aren't the eyes of someone evil, they're the eyes of someone in vast amounts of emotional pain.

That sentence from Fear Her is seriously illuminating, given what we've seen in Season 3; I'm not scared of this Doctor, I pity him.

Reunion Hugs is what this man needs.

Reunion Hugs are the least of the things he needs, but it would be a damn fine place to start.

I agree; reunion hugs would be a good catalyst for the healing that needs to happen before he can be anything like whole again; I don't know about you, but the Doctor we've seen in Season 3 is beyond even the darkness and internal pain of Nine, and Nine was coming straight off the back of the Time War! Seems to me that Ten is suffering from a mighty case of PTSD and losing Rose has done nothing but aggravate that.
