NaNo and TV update

jedi_of_urthYou know, for almost two weeks of NaNo I was doing really good, but the last few days it’s been spotty. By being feast or famine I’m still not too far behind, but it’s getting harder and harder to make myself keep writing.
Maybe it’s very telling of my writing attitude, things start actually happening (at least more than they had been) and I lose interest. I guess I need to get the story back to just people hanging out and occasionally referencing the idea that things might happen instead of trying to write those things actually happening.
(Small TV update)
Damn it, AoS finally stopped breaking me and now Arrow starts upping the angst quotient. At least Castle is happy times, basically nothing else I watch is right now (aside from the fact that I’m finding myself shipping Emma/Elsa something fierce on OUaT).
It does sound like TO has been pretty good so far this year and TVD I guess continues to not totally suck (I still haven’t forgiven the show for s4 so I’m not sure it can ever be good again in my eyes but not totally sucking is better than being s4 awful again). I’ll probably watch them once we get to the winter hiatus and give my two cents.
Also, as of yet I haven’t actually given any of this season’s new shows a shot (I sort of skimmed the Flash episode Felicity was on but didn’t see much to make me stick around), what would people recommend?
Plus I’m (slowly) rewatching s1 of AoS, just because. My biggest conclusion so far: I spend so much time these days focusing on how obvious it is that May loves Coulson I seem to have forgotten that Coulson-loves-May used to be the more apparent of the two (though on rewatch you can read a lot of it into My if you want to, and of course I do). Also it’s funny now to insert some Hydra hailing into all of Ward’s scenes (it makes him less bland in those early episodes at least).
