TVD: 4x19 reaction post

-Did Katherine and/or Elena make Elijah stupid or something? Because he handed over the cure way too easily.
-However I think I’ll shipwank (I think that’s an appropriate term for fanwanking shippily) that given how unsurprised Elijah seemed at Klaus vindictive attitude towards Kat he still doesn’t really care about her, in spite of the words that really don’t fit with what we’ve seen before of their “relationship.”
-Wait, so Kat was hanging around Mystic Falls waiting for a decision to be made regarding the cure/her freedom? (Although I thought Elijah had returned to his letter writing as he gets the hell out of dodge before the shit hits the fan tendencies, it amused me for a moment until we found out it was Kat.)
-Gods Stefan and Damon are awful people. I don’t even support humanity off Elena, but since their attitudes are also awful towards any version Elena I still hate them.
-I laugh at Damon’s manpire pain.
-I’m starting to root for Silas just because he seems to be the only person aware of how unacceptable the sire bond was (new Elena does not throw it in Damon’s face enough for my taste).
-I’m starting to feel like the show is going to go for Stefan/Caroline next season.
-Matt, I may love Rebekah, but I think you should hate her forever. (Except that it probably just further proves you and Elena belonged together, which I do support.)
-The dress looked better on Caroline.
-I want more of Rebekah and Elena roommates show. And Elijah as the wacky neighbor who pretends he’s coming over to see his sister but is totally there to eye-sex Elena.
-Bonnie was pretty great this episode. Although I wonder how she pulled out prom queen at this point.
-Still not enough Elijah show, and how can you not give us any Elijah and Elena interaction? (Probably because it would just further prove how much he loves Elena rather than Katherine and I think TPTB would rather we bought this whole thing.)
-Go Team Silas and Bonnie. Unleash hell on earth if it will put an end to this awful season.

There were definite vibes.
Although I wonder how she pulled out prom queen at this point.
Probably the least realistic moment of the episode. :P None of them even go to school.

Date: 2013-04-20 01:50 am (UTC)I can just about buy Matt still having the clout to get prom king, and since Bonnie was kinda sorta there with him maybe people voted them as a pair? But if any of the girls could have been believable winning it would have been Caroline, and even that's a stretch. Like you said, they never go to school.
