God damn Doctor Who

I want to watch it, but I’m pretty sure I’ll hate it so I really don’t want to watch it. WHY CAN’T RTD BE WRITING THIS? At least co-write it so Moff doesn’t turn it to shit, because I pretty much expect him to.
Since my flist seems inclined to watch it (hesitantly I notice) maybe I’ll wait and see what you all say, but I’m pretty sure I’ll end up watching it, before I both watching anything else from the last two seasons.
I can’t hold the stunt casting against it, if I could I probably couldn’t have my remaining favorite TVD character be the guy who essentially shows up for sweeps. I can hold the Moffat factor against it though, and I do. Oddly, for now my reaction isn’t even to be upset that Moff will probably screw this up, just sort of resigned to pretending it never happened after the fact.
