Martha Rogers? or Lanie Parish?

You know I don't have a lot of opinion on either of them aside from 'I like them' but I guess I'll try Martha.

Why I like them
She's fun, but because that's how she chooses to be rather than written as some mindless comic relief.

Why I don’t
Not so much that it makes me not like her, but I wish the show would do more with her. I know it's a procedural, but this why I don't like procedurals, characters who aren't part of the process end up not getting enough development for my tastes.

Favorite episode (scene if movie, book, manga, etc)
That one with the soap opera case comes to mind as being a good Martha episode.

Favorite season/movie/book/volume
Season 3 had the most consistent use of her character and actual development as I recall.

Favorite line I confess I'm not good at remembering lines, even though I know sh has a lot of good ones.

If it wouldn't be so weird I might consider her with Jim Beckett, but that seems like a bad idea.

I get the impression Martha doesn't have a lot of experience with pining when she has someone she fancies she goes for them as soon as she feels like it.

Show, you do not get to hurt Martha, a little bit of angst like we got in the Chet plot is fine, but no actually hurting Martha in any way.
