Family of Mine (The Family of Blood considered eternal life to be a gift ... but the Doctor knew better)

... it's a ficlet I wrote for a challenge community last year. I think the imagery in it is some of my best work, and I had a lot of fun tying in dialogue from various episodes to fit the theme.

Either that or Mutatis Mutandis, which is an Eleven/River ficlet I wrote for people like myself who don't ship Eleven/River lol. It's a very atmospheric piece, and I like how I wrote the wibbly-wobbly aspect of it.

They're both pretty well written. The first short and powerful and the second...well I'm not any fan of River, Doctor/River or the show when it involves River (I haven't watched s6 yet, but s5 did nothing to keep me in the show since RTD left) but it is lovely.

Digimon Tamers: System Failure - AU featuring dark!Takato and Ryo.

Doctor Who:

When the Stars Fall || LJ master post link - eventual Eleven/Rory fic written for a challenge last summer. I am very proud of it.

Circuses and Candy - A Fourth Doctor fic. Kinda violent.

Bouncy Balls - Jack gets a hold of a rubber bouncy ball. And look! I can write humour! (at least I think it's funny...)

River of Bones - Nine takes down a serial killer. One of my older works, but I think it's still good.

Firefly: Smile - Zoe-centric, post movie.

The Last Starfighter: No Rest for a Weary - Alex reflects on his new life (set after the movie, so spoilers abound!)

I know I watched Last Starfighter when I was a kid but I remember next to nothing about it, so I don't know if I'll read that one, but I'll probably check out some of the Doctor Who stuff and the Firefly one.

I've seen this meme three times now and I'm wondering if it's egotistical of me to comment to more than one of them?

Eh, well here's what I said before:

Road Trip. Katherine/Caroline/Elena, three vampires walk into a bar. The end of Season 3 makes this fic look a lot more plausible.

For meta, the Salvatore brothers, mostly for the fabulous discussion. (Locked post.) It's interesting to look back at this now that Season 3 has aired.

Hmm, Road Trip is kind of an odd one, but I can see why you like it. I'll come back to the meta when I feel more like thinking about what it says.
