sigh of defeat

I can't do it. It can't write 10 thousand words in one day, not even a whole day, I didn't start until afternoon. I got almost 8k, but that about 2100 words left and an hour left to do it in and I just can't do it. My brain is completely fried of writing. I need one of those nine days I spent away from my computer back, just one and I'd have had 50k, I swear.
Why is NaNo in November anyway? All of those days were lost because of holiday stuff (visiting friends pre holiday, visiting family for holiday. And that's not counting the days I lost because I was exhausted from moving furniture because we've been having our house painted.
Well, lesson for next year, don't travel so much in November, along with having an engaging story idea and I think I may finally make it work...next year.

Date: 2010-12-01 05:36 pm (UTC)I agree. I think it should be in the summer or at least when people aren't in school {doesn't apply to me, but still!}.
I managed to write everyday, but it was a challenge because I needed to be up earlier on the days I worked because of my hour long commute to my job.
