Ten/Rose!

1. When I started shipping them

Um...Ten was born with me shipping them since I already shipped Doctor/Rose from Nine. And TCI did a pretty good job reinforcing it too.

2. What I think their challenge is

He's a Time Lord, she's a human, there's a lot of problem areas from that, things that I think he was TOO aware of and she wasn't quite aware enough of.

3. What makes me happy about them

Everything basically. They make each other happy, they make each other better, they make each other believe.

4. What makes me sad about them

That they're only TV characters, and being TV characters could not be allowed to just be happy and together.

5. What moment I wish had never happened

Throw out GitF sure, but mostly Doomsday, if Ten was a proper adventurer and had the requisite 50 ft. of rope to tie them to the wall with...that's one moment when everything could have changed.
And yes, I would rewrite JE if I could. Yes I kind of like it in theory, but damn would I change stuff about it.

6. Who I'd be comfortable them ending up with, if not each other

Rose - Daniel Jackson from Stargate (it makes sense in my head). I suppose *maybe* Jack Harkness but that's still more OT3 with a missing member.
Ten - ...*maybe* the Master, but even that's not the same sort of "ending up together" as with Rose

7. My happily ever after for them

They did run together at the end of TSE, defeated the Daleks without doubling the Doctor, and nobody had to end up alone at the end of the story because the Doctor and Rose were back together again, and where they would always stay.
