So does anyone know what the character/word limit for a livejournal post is? These are the kinds of things you need to figure out when working on and running a competition of long fanfics.

From what I understand the word limit is 10,000.

Thanks to both of you, I truly would have expected it to be a character limit instead of a word one, but now I know and can pass it along. SO again, thanks.

You know, I would have expected it to be a character limit as well. Now I am wondering... But I am using my Giz Kids post (which was 11,300 words) as my example, and was forced to break my post into two parts as LJ claimed it was over 10,000 words, so that's what I'm going by. Hope I'm not steering you wrong.
