Fall TV time

jedi_of_urthWow, I hadn't even caught up on all the stuff that premiered last week and it looks like a lot of stuff started up today. Especially as there wasn't even a ball game to watch tonight I could have paid more attention. Oh well I guess, far from the end of the world.
One thing I did watch from last week was The Office, so here's some thoughts.
It was a pretty good episode, a little too much Michael for my tastes but overall good. A lot of my favorite bits were the shorter gags, like Creed being...well Creed. I still can't quite believe Stanley had any faith Michael wouldn't crew things up (see I'm not saying the cheating was OOC, unexpected but not exactly OOC, however, him having any confidence Michael wouldn't make a mess of things? *that's* OOC for Stanley).
The Andy sections were funny, and very Office-y in that it was an uncomfortable kind of funny. And poor Oscar, but his camera session about it was great, I do have a small amount of Andy/Oscar shipping in me, but I don't really expect the show to ever go there. If anything it's just that the writers got wind of fandom going there last season and decided to toss in a little more scenes for fun.
I really don't have much to say on the JimAndPam front. They were a ways from being the focus of the episode, which I'm never sure how I feel about. They're my favorite two characters (of actual character, obviously some of the background players crack me up a pretty good amount too) so I tend to prefer episodes which do more with them, but most of what we got was good.
I am quite glad to have the show back, so overall yay.
In other TV news, I am thinking of giving 'Community' a try, yesterday I was all excited to see there was new Merlin but somehow haven't felt driven to watch it yet, and then there's all tonight's stuff. So there will be more to say later.
What I should be doing is writing, BBH fic is due this weekend after all.
