Reflections:
And this one is really the last of my initial rush of Doctor Who vidding. As such it’s pretty much the same style as the ones up to this point, except I was clearly ready to try a different topic, at least slightly. But I actually think it’s the weakest of the three, maybe because of the difference in topic/tone or maybe not, but that’s how it feels.
I do tend to have a harder time with fast paced songs, but it’s not like I can’t do them. Also, while this was never a favorite song of mine (just one I *thought* made a good vidding platform) but by the time I was done with the vid I already was sick of it. That probably has colored my thoughts on the vid itself since then.
On another hand I am glad I was trying to extend myself a bit even early on. I’ve always been fighting the feeling that I’m a little one note with my vids, even if I wasn’t thinking of that consciously then.
I should probably touch on the fact that I deliberately left Ten out of this one. At the time I wasn’t nearly the Ten fan I am now and that definitely influenced that choice, but it’s always been easier if I can limit the scope of a vid. Both technically as WMM tends to protest more the more files are included and from the mental side. Although the mental side definitely has curve (as very little can also be hard) and it’s ever changing so it’s just a gut thing really.
Over all, I don’t have that much to say about the vid itself, it’s not great and I know that.
