1. List all of your favourite old and new fandoms.

DS9: still no, although I was really tempted to list Miles for a while, between Odo and my final decision for this list (really favorite characters do tend to fluctuate)

DS9 has such a huge cast that I get why it's taking so long, but no, not Quark, sorry to say of the Ferangi he's actually one of my least favorites, but it's not any of the Ferangi.

I don't know anyone else who liked Quark besides me, but I had to guess :-) I'm not even sure who's left besides Worf. Who's one of my all time fave. I was a big supporter of him and Jadzia.

Not Jake <Okay, hint, it's not any of the main cast, in case there were actually ones you hadn;t guessed yet) Not Harmony (I don't think we ever saw my fave in s5) Yes Noah If I could only believe Sylar would stay as brain fried Nathan I would have accepted the Heroes finale better, but of course I know there's basically a 0.0% chance of that happening. Sylar is on my list of most hated characters EVER.

Honestly, it's been so long since DS9 I've pretty much forgotten. I believe there were a couple of Cardassian's besides Garek, but I don't remember :(

Sylar is on my list too. I just YUCK with him. I really wish Nathan would stay in his brain too. Blah. Stupid show.

Yep, I did eventually settle on Garek for today's question of who I liked best.

I'll give you credit for Lilah because I *think* you're talking about her, just names can be issues although I'm not sure I'd call her blond myself, but me a hair color are not always easy associates.

Sylar was interesting enough in season 1, and I was even sort of glad AT THE TIME that they didn't kill him, because it's a total comic book thing to leave the door open for him to return. But...season 2 didn't do wonders for the character and season 3 just made him utterly worthless and yet the show still seems to think he should stick around. I DON'T GET IT anymore.

I support everything you just wrote about Sylar, 100% agree. But they're going to keep him around because the actor is omg so popular now and no way are they letting him go especially with ratings being down.

The fact that there's several people like me who would probably have a new found love affair with the show if they would just KILL HIM ALREADY gets lost behind the fanboys/girls who this he's OMG THE BEST THING EVER.

To be honest it took me a while into the ST movie to stop hating Spock just because he was played by ZQ, which is probably bad of me, but I also hate James Marsters in just about any role because I suffer from such severe Spike-hate that it poisons everything.

I did intimately like nu!Spock well enough, not my favorite but I got over my instinct to hate him on principle.

I didn't really warm up to nu!Spock until halfway through watching it a second time. It's hard for me to distance the actor from Sylar because I HATE Sylar so much. Plus I just don't like this Spock as much as I did with TOS!Spock.

*shrugs*

Then again, I didn't so much like Shatner!Kirk but I'm completely in love with Pine!Kirk.
