Yeah, I admit I am very passionate about ships. Passionate for like Doctor/Rose and many others; passionately against like Buffy/Spike and the like; or at least passionately apathetic, like say Helo/Athena. I say I'm cautions about shipping most when I just haven't deeply invested in being passionate from one of those angles, or I'm being passionately cautious.
That could be its own meme, name me a ship I know anything about and I'll rant about it I'm sure.
2. Vidding
I love vidding, it's just...the way I see music most of the time. Even if it doesn't go with any ship or anything viddable for one reason or another it's the way music impacts me. So once I actually realized a thing or two about vidding how could I help but get into it.
I really need to do a history of me which lead to me fanvidder tendencies, it would be interesting for me to put together at least, whether it would be interesting to others is another matter I suspect.
3. Pixie Stix!!!
Not using the icon for this post but it does make me identifiable. The fact that I stealth snagged it from someone because it was just something that I thought fit me oh so well is both telling and something we won't talk about too much (for the stealth snagging part).
Pixy stix are like crack, and sugar is the second drug of choice for all the roleplayers I know (caffeine being number one) so we really love our pixies.
4. BSG
I feel the need to chronicle my thoughts as we go through the last few episodes of BSG even more than before. I've always had passionate feelings on the show ranging from OMG AWESOME, to YOU SUCH, to just WHAT THE FRAK? Also the fact that among what fandom I see my opinions seem a little...unwelcome and as such I'm just going to rant about them more. The fact that I'm still hoping most of the cylons die a horrible painful death (not the final five...well maybe Tory) and despise the idea of integrating the humans and cylons as much as half the fleet but no one pays attention to them because the no one pays attention to the average people...and there I go again with my ranty look at the show.
I'm not sure you needed that, but I've got a hair trigger for BSG rants it appears.
5. memes
I love memes, it just seems like less of my friends-list than I would like gets as into them as I do. I like having an excuse to get ranty, and read others' opinions on a lot of things, in addition to getting to know them better. Of course I'm also just kind of happy to fill out fandom related forms sometimes.
