I feel much the same. I've enjoyed the few post-JE Donna stories that I've read but I don't feel any great need to seek them out. Donna was made of awesome but... her story isn't as full of writing/vidding potential in the way that Rose's is. Donna is most interesting, I've found, as a spice added on top.
Rose is still the most complex companion that Who (new or old) has given us. Because she never stops growing, I guess. We got to see Donna grow, twice, but with generally the same pattern. Rose is... Rose. I don't think there'll ever be another one like her. Certainly not while Moffat's writing.
I do agree that I don't want Moffat to write Donna again. I hated what he did to her (and the Doctor & Donna relationship) in SitL/FotD. Ick.
