Random shippy thoughts

jedi_of_urthWell, it's Valentine's Day, which mean virtually nothing to me but I'm thinking of reverse engineering some award to give my various favorite ships, but for right now, this is just random.
Alright, so I'm just moving into S4 for Stargate abd I'm finally starting to see the Jack/Sam stuff that everyone talks about. Still not sure I ship them, but there's plenty more to go, and I certainly wouldn't say I mind the idea of a relationship there. Also, I can hardly put down ships based on interpretive reading of what's on the show (I ship Buffy/Giles, I need a button before you can ask me how).
But, that's not really the point, the point is, as I've mentioned to a couple people I'm obsessively thinking in terms of crossover shipping Rose/Daniel. It's weird, I don't think I've ever really crossover shipped characters before but the idea of the two of them seems so cute.
If there is only one good thing to be found in Rose winding up in an alternate universe (and there's a very very small number, possibly only one), it's that one could theoretically have any other characters over there to meet up with. Funny that now that we know Rose is coming back I'm just now starting to invent a whole other life over there for her.
