Reflections:
These were the first fanvids I ever made I wouldn't say they suck or anything, but they're very primitive and you can see that I was feeling my way into this. It was also before I learned to take my time or go back and do a lot of editing, so the end result is basically as it fell together as I made it.
But there are signs of my vidding style from the beginning, at least I think. Story structure and somewhat in clip choices, particularly the occasional ironic bit of clip choice showing up. It certainly doesn't flow like my later vids will, but we all have to start somewhere.
While I think the Luke one preceded Obi-Wan one slightly I still consider them basically intertwined. Not just for the obvious reason that they're to the same song since I couldn't decided which era it worked better for, I was vidding so quickly (comes from lack of editing or putting a ton of thought into it) that these *are* in a lot of ways the same vid.
I was on a "Wicked" kick at the time (carried over into my next vid too), but "Wicked" really is a very good musical to draw from for SW vids. I still have some ideas about doing more of it, but it's never a very strong drive.
