Oh glorious crack 'Robin Hood', you finally got me even to the point of doing reaction posts.
-Am I an idiot for not picking up on the "National Treasure" rip-off just from the title? It even took me a few steps into the quest to realize it, so I must be an idiot.
-The Robin/Marion scene might not have been so funny if it hadn't been for the soap opera music. Sorry music, still not buying it.
-The National Treasure rip-off side of the plot might be cheesy as hell but we got some actual teamwork from the gang, and some humor for Little John (or should we call him Big Bear?).
-The other side of the plot though...Guy, Marion, and Allan so need to form their own gang. That was some actually compelling story and they're totally awesome.
-You know, if you'd told me even before this season started that I would reach a point where I though Guy was about two steps away from being classified as "good" I never would have believed it, but these last few weeks...I'm getting there.
-In all seriousness this episode taught us that neither Robin or Guy really know Marion, but by the end Guy has made steps in overcoming that. And Marion's promises to Robin are about as worthless as those she gave Guy. (Look I will usually root for the good guy over the morally grey one, but really I keep laughing at Robin/Marion and am nearly squeeing over Guy/Marion.)
-That and again showing that Marion is closer to what I though Robin Hood was supposed to be, the people matter most to her, when there's a choice, Robin cares more about helping the king.
-Next time, Road Trip to the Holy Land
