Summery: Short drabble about the Doctor’s thoughts during “42” when he’s in trouble

He’s grasping at the air, searching for something to hold on to.
Where is she?
He needs her, needs her strength and her constant presence because he’s burning and he just needs to feel her hand in his to know that he’ll make it through.
Why can’t he find her?
He has to find her, she must be here. She’d supposed to be here, she’s always there.
Isn’t she?
She isn’t and he’s frightened because he’s alone. He needs a miracle right now and without her he doesn’t believe in those anymore.
If she’s gone, what is he holding onto?
Nothing.
