NaNo update

jedi_of_urthYou know, for not having a clue what I'd be writing until less than 48 hours before NaNo started, and still not having a great idea 4 hours before it started, and still mostly making it up as I go along...it's coming along nicely. I'm at just a hair under 8,800 words, and still have time to write tonight.
So I'm basically writing X-men by way of Downton Abbey, except my main character doesn't know about super powers yet, so it's kind of just British people being polite about things so far. Of course everyone else knows about super powers, and they're just too polite to mention it yet.
Now to think about what I'll write later on tonight, maybe the muses will decide it's finally time for something to happen.
