Day 11: Character you like with several others

I don’t know what it is about stupid vampire shows (aside from the fact that they’re on the WB/CW so often there’s a lot of romantic options) but I end up with lots of ships for the ladies on those shows.

I ship Buffy with Giles, Xander, Willow, and Faith in that order (usually, Giles is first, the other three can vary a little). The fact that none of them is a canon love interest says something about how I felt about her actual canon love interests.

I do however ship Willow with (almost) all her canon love interests. I can never decide if I ship her more with Xander, Oz, or Tara, just not Kennedy. I love all three of her real ships (I don’t consider Kennedy a real ship) and kind of want her to somehow end up with all of them; in addition, I sometimes on the side ship her with Buffy or Angel.

Over on TVD, I have two main ships for Elena, Elijah and Matt, and several that I kind of like; Alaric, Katherine, hate fuck buddies with Klaus and/or Rebekah, possibly Caroline down the road. Yet again, note the absence of canon love prospects from that list.

(Ultimately I don’t ship Caroline with anyone strongly enough to make a list for her, I can like a lot of pairings for her but commit to none. And while I don’t count Bonnie/Jeremy as a real OTP, it is the clear front runner for Bonnie.)
