1) I’m just a girl who can’t say no to a big bang

I was doing so good for quite a while about not signing up for big bangs, but I’ve signed up for two in the last week, neither of which is going to give me an opening to write more of my ongoing series like [livejournal.com profile] scifibigbang did.

To be fair, [livejournal.com profile] rare_bb has a really lengthy time frame, which was part of what convinced me to go ahead and sign up. I’m still trying to figure out what I want to write, if I can find my Daniel/Rose muses I might try for one of those, but at the moment I’m sort of leaning towards a Saving Hope/TVD crossover but I haven’t quite figured out what to do with it. Like I said, I have some time on this one though.

And...I signed up for [livejournal.com profile] polybigbang partly out of anger. Reading the sign up list there were very few where it sounded like the ladies would be important, so much of it was multiple dudes that I decided I had to sign up and write something that wasn’t all about the c*ck. So I’m thinking I’m going to write some humanity-off-Elena/Originals, and it’s going to be seriously messed up, but it’s about *Elena’s* development through that process.

2) I think you’re a clone now

Also, I did say I was going to post up some of my thoughts on Orphan Black once I finished, but I couldn’t ever get my thoughts in order. Suffice it to say that I enjoyed it, though it definitely needs a second season as virtually nothing was actually resolved in s1. Also, if someone were to write a crossover with Castle (which should be easy as they both involve the NYPD) I’d read the hell out of it.

(Speaking of, let’s track the crossover tree for a minute:

-Black and solid means I want these crossovers, grey and spotty means there’s probably enough material for one and yes I have thought about and Originals in Nottingham story.)

3) Next verse same as the last

I have seen you all posting about the Doctor Who news of the last week, and I still don’t care. I never particularly cared for Eleven, but that was because the writers seldom write him in a way that appeals to me. And the writing crew (namely especially Moffat) are sticking around so I don’t have much hope for caring about Twelve either (or whatever number we’ll be on at that point).

I’m still not sure about the 50th special. It’s still Moffat and I have no hope that it’ll be the kind of story that speaks to me, but how can I not bother? Whether I watch it or not I’ll probably spend the time huddled in a ball wailing; “WHY RUSTY, WHY DID YOU EVER LEAVE US TO THIS IDIOT?!?!?!”

I do miss caring about DW sometimes, because my fannishness for it is pretty much dead right now and sometimes I wish I could have found something to keep me watching so I’d still have those old feelings in there. But they’re not, and don’t see how Moff dragging my babies back into his mess of things can do anything but hurt us all,
