It's basically the point the fic turns on The half is all charcter while there's actual plot stuff from here on. I spend the first half building up John and Anne only to start turning the dial back to Doctor/Rose halfway through.
Of course the episode has a similar structure so I can't take all the credit I suppose. But yeah, this is a good moment, right?
