Castle short thoughts

turtle_goose said a few weeks back. Watching Castle sometimes I find myself thinking how glad I am that this show ISN”T The Vampire Diaries. I’m not really one for police procedurals, and in some ways this reminds me WHY (hello always wishing the show was more serialized and desperately eating up the storylines that ARE whenever they show up), but it’s also a reminder why I should watch more adult television (not to say I don’t watch any more adult shows but I’ve been sort of immersed in TVD for a bit).
(turtle_goose has also made me interested in this idea of Castle/TVD crossover stuff because of reasons.)
I really should put together a post on my Castle thoughts, because I have them it turns out. If nothing else I could go add it to my list of shows I could review episodes from (not that I’ve been doing much of that recently). But I will do a quick rundown of my feelings on this season so far.
5x01: Kate Beckett for queen of everything.
5x02: Aww, you two are so precious (also Kate Beckett for queen of everything).
5x03: I do love hand porn (also Kate Beckett for queen of everything).
5x04: Please tell me people have written Castle/Revenge crossover fics, and where I can find them (also Ryan is adorable).
5x05: I’ll let Troy say it:
5x06: This was just an excuse to have lots of Firefly jokes wasn’t it? Also, Kate Beckett for fangirl queen of the universe.
(Now to go back to staring at my NaNo project while more likely poking at fanfics. Even then barely enough to get around the bad case of writer’s block I’ve got going.)
