I suspect "Jon should be Ned's kid" IS an unpopular opinion, yes! :) (I don't have any strong feelings about the Starks, except for wanting the suriving Stark kids, especially Sansa, to end up in a safe and relatively happy situation after all they've been through. But I definitely don't want any secret Targaryens -- or non-secret ones, for that matter -- on the throne at the end, so anything that makes that possibility more remote is fine by me.)
it would kind of be just another narcissism based thing, and I'm hoping Jaime gets out of that cycle.
Oh, it totally would be! And it's definitely much less of a character growth ship for him than Brienne, but I actually like the mirroring. Well, and two cocky assholes paired together, in general.
And I also kind of think if Jaime actually thought for a second about the idea of having a threesome with Cersei and Brienne, he'd quickly realize it would be a bad idea
Wholeheartedly agreed! I could see it as a thing that, IDK, he sees in a dream or something, and his first thought is "hot!" but that quickly changes to "baaad idea" as soon as he considers it in any sort of 'real life' context.
Also, I kind of love that icon.
