Comedy

Winners I called: Liz, Lucille, Robin, Abed, Leslie, Sheldon, Miranda
Upsets: Gus

Contest: Liz Lemon (30 Rock) vs. Lucille Bluth (Arrested Development)
My Prediction: Hmm, on my bracket I said Lucille, I have my doubts now
My Pick/vote: Lucille, I like Liz, but Lucille is the queen
Comments: I called both winners let’s see if I called the winner between them too.

Contest: Robin Scherbatsky (How I Met Your Mother) vs. Abed Nadir (Community)
My Prediction: I said Abed, but it could really go either way and will certainly be close
My Pick/vote: Abed, mostly because I haven’t watch HIMYM in so long and I need Community so much.
Comments: This in kind of a killer choice though.

Contest: Gus (Psych) vs. Leslie Knope (Parks and Recreation)
My Prediction: I said Leslie when I thought it would be Leslie vs. Phil, but I stand by that prediction now
My Pick/vote: Gus, but I feel kind of bad about it
Comments: I guess I’m glad Gus pulled out the win in round 1, but it makes this round harder on me.

Contest: Sheldon Cooper (The Big Bang Theory) vs. Miranda (Miranda)
My Prediction: Sheldon
My Pick/vote: Miranda, because of not-Sheldon reasons
Comments: My reasons may be more about not-Sheldon but looking at the campaigning for Miranda kind of makes me want to watch that show too.


Teen

Winners I called: ALL OF THEM, as this is exactly the eight I predicted my predictions are all from my bracket with added comments

Contest: Veronica Mars (Veronica Mars) vs. Caroline Forbes (The Vampire Diaries)
My Prediction: Veronica, and it kills me but I think she’ll win out
My Pick/vote: Caroline, because it’s Caroline
Comments: I love both these girls so much.

Contest: Hermione Granger (Harry Potter) vs. Blair Waldorf (Gossip Girl)
My Prediction: Hermione
My Pick/vote: Hermione
Comments: I don’t think there’s any stopping the power of HP.

Contest: Santana Lopez (Glee) vs. Lorelai Gilmore (Gilmore Girls)
My Prediction: I think it will be close but ultimately Santana will take it
My Pick/vote: Santana
Comments: This could go either way, because both fandoms are pretty big on these characters.

Contest: Tami Taylor (Friday Night Lights) vs. Katniss Everdeen (The Hunger Games)
My Prediction: Probably another close one but I predicted Tami, but I could be wrong
My Pick/vote: Tami, sorry CS, but this time I have to vote my own heart
Comments: These two are apples and oranges, both awesome fruit (in theory, I don’t like oranges, but you get my point), but so hard to say who will win.


Sci-fi / Fantasy

Winners I called: Scully, Donna, Sansa, Kara, Zoe, Olivia
Upsets: Snow, Kelly

Also, you realize that the Teen and SF/F categories are now all ladies?

Contest: Dana Scully (The X-Files) vs. Donna Noble (Doctor Who)
My Prediction: I said Donna, but oh man it could be a battle
My Pick/vote: DEAR GOD I DON’T KNOW! How do I choose between these two? I think I’ll close my eyes and vote...Donna, but IT’S BREAKING MY HEART.
Comments: SCLLY MY QUEEN, WHY MUST YOU BE AGAINST DONNA? DONNA WHY MUST YOU BE AGAINST SCULLY?

Contest: Snow White (Once Upon a Time) vs. Kelly Bailey (Misfits)
My Prediction: Since I predicted neither of them to win this in an all new prediction. I think Snow has the advantage now.
My Pick/vote: Snow
Comments: Well, I’m not getting points on the bracket whichever wins.

Contest: Sansa Stark (Game of Thrones) vs. Kara Thrace (Battlestar Galactica)
My Prediction: Sansa has a hard road in this game, but I think she’s got one more round in her
My Pick/vote: You know, I like both of them but I don’t feel emotional about this fight. But I think I’ll go with Sansa again.
Comments: On that subject, neither of these two were the ones I wanted to get their fandom’s nomination, so I’m kind of flying blind.

My Prediction: Zoe
My Pick/vote: Zoe
Comments: I do think people love Olivia, but I think Zoe will get it.


Drama

Winners I called: Watson, Kalinda, CJ, Mary,
Upsets: Alice, Brennan, Parker, Beckett

Obviously not watching these shows I was at a disadvantage with my bracket it seems.

Contest: John Watson (Sherlock) vs. Kalinda Sharma (The Good Wife)
My Prediction: Watson
My Pick/vote: You know what, screw it, I’m voting against Watson this time
Comments: Team not-a-Moffat

Contest: Alice Morgan (Luther) vs. CJ Cregg (The West Wing)
My Prediction: I may not have called Alice, but I still have CJ to win
My Pick/vote: shrug
Comments: I have no horse in this race

Contest: Temperance Brennan (Bones) vs. Mary Crawley (Downton Abbey)
My Prediction: While I may have had Emily to win against Brennan, I still think Mary will win but it will be harder fight than the one I had predicted
My Pick/vote: up for grabs
Comments: I lean toward Mary already since I do at least want to watch DA which I can’t say for Bones.

Contest: Parker (Leverage) vs. Kate Beckett (Castle)
My Prediction: I predicted neither of them after round 1 but now I call Beckett to win
My Pick/vote: no one right now
Comments: Oh drama, if only I could feel something for your drama.
