FMM very initial thoughts
Mar. 4th, 2013 06:52 pmHmm, I thought I was less caring about FMM this year, but my enthusiasm seems to be gearing up (if it goes like last year it will die halfway through too). So here’s a few of my early plans.
Doctor Who: COME ON FANDOM, STOP OPPRESSING ME AND NOMINATE ROSE.
TVD: I wish I could stan for Elena this year, but I can’t. Girl, I know the writers screwed you over but I won’t show support for the Elena-doll that killed my real Elena. So tentatively I’m going with Elijah even though he has next to no chance, but I will switch to just about anyone (especially Bonnie or Rebekah) to keep the Salvatores off the bracket.
Game of Thrones: GO ARYA. Although I can’t really think of a single character I’m opposed to (at least of characters who stand much if any chance of winning, I wouldn’t support Sandor (for book fandom reasons) or Shae or Talisa (for different book reasons) but I don’t think I have to worry too much about those). As a side note regarding last year, I find I like Sansa most when everyone hates her, so her getting the nomination last year (and going so far with it) was the worst thing for my opinion of the character, because right now I’m really against her getting it again.
Castle: Kate; though again, not that there’s a bad apple to be had in this bunch.
Buffy: As always TEAM DEATH TO SPIKE.
TEAM COMMUNITY (with the exceptions of Pierce and Change, but I’m leaning towards Troy this year personally...for the moment)
I believe there was discussion to the Mary Crawley’s Revenge campaign being planned for this year, I’ll be okay with that.
Speaking of Revenge I have no idea who I’d vote for on that show, or OUaT for that matter (just not Rumple or Hook, I care not for their man pain fight), or plenty of other shows that may or may not be on the bracket. I’m basically Team Anti-Moffat and Team Not-a-douchebag if I boil it down (actually I think Team Anti-Moffat may be a subset of Team Not-a-douchebag come to think on it). That and Team I-only-care-enough-to-discuss-it-on-my-journal-or-flist, I don't get involved with discussions on FMM and I dont do vote trading but I am willing to hear the opinions of people I trust and consider if they're convincing.
I’ll get back to this subject once we have a full list and I can figure out what else I feel like voting for, and then maybe revive last year’s breakdown of the whole thing once it gets going.
