NaNo day 1/2

So I wrote about two thousand words this morning for NaNoWriMo. And already I can sense the story shifting away from my original action/adventure premise into something closer political drama. Which is ironic because last year's (unsuccessful) attempt had started out more of a character/political drama and morphed quickly into an action/adventure piece.

However the first half or so of of this story was always going to be character drama, so while it may be taking on slightly a different context but that intent remains. ...for now, it is only twelve hours into it.
