Birthday babble

katesutton has the same birthday, so happy birthday to us.
Hopefully will be getting together with friends tonight or tomorrow to celebrate, more than one has said they might get me HP7 so I'm putting off buying it until I find out if anyone actually does get it for me, which means I do *not* want spoilers for at least a couple days. I'm not quite to a lot of people's level of going on lj-abandonment for the weekend but I'm hoping I can skillfully dance around spoilers (though knowing me I'll give in as soon as they start being common, I'm weak).
I should really go find myself a beta reader for my current big fanfic project, I'm discovering I have no idea how to write the big action scene for it (that and I'm sort of taking of faith that I'm writing the Five-era characters anything approaching in character even if they are alt versions).
Also I've been feeling completely self important on the Torchwood pairing poll this month, I managed to attract followers to voting for Jack/Tosh, normally I seem to be the only one who does, now if only the Ten/Martha people weren't out in so much force on the DW one.
