What am I doing?

jedi_of_urthOkay, so thanks to recently finding myself obsessed with TGWTG.com it's lead me to thinking there are some gaps in my childhood nostalgia. I wasn't allowed to watch a lot of TV as a kid so a lot things most of those folks reference as things they grew up on weren't really part of my childhood.
Okay, this is all well and good, maybe a bit late to give things like X-men cartoons a chance, but whatever. Maybe I'll end up wishing I'd been able to watch them as a kid maybe mot, maybe I'll think it's better I watched them as an adult. I can't say.
Because at 28 I've managed to get myself obsessed with a show I wrote off at age 12 as not worth my time. Damn you, Linkara, why did you have to make me nostalgic for a show I didn't even LIKE as a kid?

POWER RANGERS Y'ALL. WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME?!?!?!
Why can't I be like all the cool kids of my f-list and just be obsessed with a show about vampires and diaries? Except that if I was I'd drive everyone nuts with Elena/Alaric shipping these days and my endless need to defend Matt since no one else does.
I'd be way less ashamed to admit I was obsessing about that than this...
