You know, I would have expected it to be a character limit as well. Now I am wondering... But I am using my Giz Kids post (which was 11,300 words) as my example, and was forced to break my post into two parts as LJ claimed it was over 10,000 words, so that's what I'm going by. Hope I'm not steering you wrong.
