Belated Monday TV thoughts

So now I'm all caught up on HIMYM and I can comment os season 4 and the newest episode and not just to me.
Season 4 seems a little uneven but on the whole I like it.
Even though I never invested in Ted's relationship with Stella (maybe if I'd had more time with it that would have been different) I'm still pissed off with the way it was handled in the end. Well, maybe not pissed since I can't quite get that mad about it but unhappy.
The Barney/Robin thing...I'm warming to it. They're not really OTP material for me though. I like that we're getting more character for Barney because of it and I do care about him when his confused feelings mess with him but it also makes me a little...uncomfortable. I guess I don't really see them as all that compatible and it can just end badly in my foresight ability (which granted isn't all that good).
Marshall and Barney, and for a while Ted, working together is a great setup. I wish we'd gotten more of a look at all of them running around the office.
Now being caught up I can say I don't know if this show is vid material but maybe, we'll see if anything strikes me.
That was actually really good. Hey writers, no Sylar helps these things.
Although the feminist in me would like to point out that they just killed off two of their none too many female characters in the same episode.
I started guessing Rebel was Micah in act one, at least during Tracy's escape I started suspecting. Micah could actually do the things we've seen Rebel do, and the fact that he seemed interested in Tracy here gave me a clue. I'm happy I was right, and very happy to see Micah back in general and hope he sticks around.
Why are Petrelli family rescues so incestuous? Nathan and Claire last week this week Peter and Angela both with very squirky looks about it.
For once Hiro and Ando's plot wasn't boring or pointless. Looks like the writers have changed their minds about Janice's child being Matt's rather than the guy she was cheating with, not sure how I feel about that. Also, it's violating the inherited powers line we've had going since little-Matt had Micah's power rather than Matt's.
As much as I've never liked Matt/Daphne, and pretty much agreed with Daphne in everything she said about why they didn't have a real story, and was WTFing at it until it was revealed it was a dream, it was a pretty end and I'll miss Daphne (though not the relationship).
