HIMYM season 3

So HIMYM season 3...
As quickly as I raced through it I'm surprised to say I'm not sure I liked it as much as the previous seasons. Not much less, but a little.
I'm not sure I have much more to comment on as opinions haven't changed much but a nod to the end of season happenings.
I'm not sold on Barney/Robin yet (nor do I think I should be). It's not making me break out in hives at the thought, but it's going to have to tread really carefully for me to get into it. I was actually more interested in what it did to Ted and Barney's relationship and thought it was very in character that Ted was much more pissed off at Barney than Robin whether or not it was valid.
I have my suspicious we're going to get more Barney growth at some point, which seems like a good idea to me.
I'm still pretty sure that if this were any other show I'd call myself a Ted/Robin shipper and be hoping they eventually work it out, but knowing that's not going to happen spares me from investing in that hope, and that's okay. I'm okay with the idea that maybe there's some universe out there were things went differently, but it's not going to happen here, so I hope they both eventually end up happy (but then on Friends I kind of always wanted Monica and Richard to get back together even though there was no reason not to like Monica/Chandler).
Since it's pretty clear Not-Elliot (I can not seem to keep track of her name so I just call her not-Elliot) is not the future Mrs. Ted I'm not looking forward to seeing Ted get his heart stomped on more but obviously he will.
So, onward.
