I'm not saying Athena had to forgive Boomer for abducting her daughter, even though she did ultimately rescue Hera back, that's a pretty big thing to forgive, but at the same time that ending was way more harsh than it should have been for the one other Eight out there who I don't think one could argue was her soul twin. I kind of think Athena has become kind of self loathing because she does *not* relate to other Eights well (not that very many of them are all that likable), she's *really* stiff with all of them as a whole and Boomer is a big stickler with her.

You know, as much as I love the Adama/Roslin romance (although less so once they actually tried to write it) and love the Bill-Lee and Bill-Kara and Bill-Saul relationships when they're well done, Bill himself is not a character I'm all that crazy about. He's great with the people he cares about (when he's not being overly judgmental) but it's like everyone else doesn't matter to him at all.
