Benjamin Button

So went to see 'The Curious Case of Benjamin Button' last night and it was pretty good, but really this post is about how it relates to Doctor Who...obviously.
So after the movie my dad commented on how it kept him thinking about how the relationship would look X years down the road and I realized I didn't have those thoughts during the movie, because I'm so used to spending my time thinking about a ship where that's a factor too, if a different one.
Of course if things continue at the rate they're headed, Twelve is going to start life as a ten year old and Thirteen will start as an infant (the last actually has some appeal, that his last life (if they stick to that) he'd just...live, have a childhood, grow up, get old, unfortunately probably not with Rose these days). Because whether you think Rose will age normally, age slowly, or is immortal like Jack, or even is a Time Lady herself, the Doctor will regenerate into different bodies, so they wouldn't have always looked age appropriate. Granted they started out as a 19 year old and a 900 year old who looked 40 or so, so they weren't always age appropriate to begin with.
Not that I think it would matter to them mind you, just commenting. And granted Ten II and Rose don't have that problem (unless Rose *is* immortal/a Time Lady and he only has the one life) which was the Doctor's whole thing anyway.
But mainly go see the movie, it's really good and interesting, and not just for my Doctor Who thoughts on the subject. And it is very different from other stories, even if I can find Doctor Who similarities.
And a few other things
~I haven't seen the SGA finale yet, probably later today, I completely spaced it last night.
~I think I must be coming to terms with JE since I'm starting to get to a point where I actually want to see DW/Farscape crossover where the Ten I and Aeryn discuss being on different sides of the splitting problem. Also the idea of Ten and Aeryn hanging out is pretty cool in general.
