So I got to go see Iron Man 3 today.

( Not many spoilers, but a few )

Okay, now I’ve listened to The Hunger Games on audiobook and started Catching Fire (a bit over two disks in), and seen THG movie. So I might as well post about my thoughts.

( Note I said thoughts, not feelings )

Ever since I finally got around to watching IM2, I've been in the mood to make a Tony/Pepper vid, so this is the result. Don't know if or when I'll make more, but I had to do something with it.

Okay, so in terms of getting up to date on things I got a couple of them ticked off yesterday.

Went and saw the new Robin Hood movie: ( Some spoilers, but not much to do with the plot )

And then, I watched the end of Ashes to Ashes: ( Spoilers obviously )

They've started playing evening/night ball at the softball field near my house. As a kid that always used to annoy me because they played until after my bedtime and the lights and noise kept me up. Now it at most means I need to keep the music going if I'm not watching something at night.

And that I WANT BASEBALL. I only miss the Olympics being on because now I'm in a lull between sports in the evenings. We're still a bit under three weeks from the season though. I want to watch my boys again.

Also I haven't said anything about the last couple movies I've seen:

So there have been several things I've watched lately that I haven't written reviews/reaction posts for, might still but here's an overview of some of the big ones:

( Dollhouse, Wolverine, Star Trek, Robin Hood )

So I went and saw Slumdog Millionaire yesterday and I can say I can see why it won Best Picture this year. It was a wonderful story and really well done. Of the three Best Picture nominees I've had the chance to see now it was the best done (and I say that as someone who also adored Benjamin Button although maybe not quite in a Best Picture way).

So if you haven't had a chance to see it yet I would recommend it.

Well besides WMM throwing a hissy fit I quite like this one. It maybe has a little foreshadowing of the Susan turn in The Last Battle if you know about it, but it's mainly about how Susan and Peter react to being back in Narnia, older and facing a changed Narnia. In the end they're told they can't return because they're too grown up now, and maybe they are.
