Also, if Oliver/Felicity isn’t endgame for this show I’m going to be very frustrated with all this ship teasing. I think Ollie still has a ton to work out before I think they should be together, but this level of ship bait needs to be leading somewhere.

Love the gif. I was expecting the reveal about him being Thea's father; I was not expecting him to actually show up. Good one, Barrowman!

As for Oliver/Felicity, I really hope so too. Oliver/Laurel may be comics canonical, but in the show they have no chemistry whatsoever and I really don't want them to even attempt to try anything more than friendship in the future.

Yeah I saw the idea of him being Thea's father coming as soon as the affair was revealed and so many years ago; I figured that was the big trump card they had to play, not just the affair (actually, without a date I wondered briefly if it was going to turn out the be Oliver). I'm not even entirely surprised hes still alive, this is a comic book show so even if you do see the body there's usually a work around.

But are Ollie/Laurel comics canon? Sarah's Black Canary in all this so at minimum they've split Ollie's comics love interest in two. And he was better chemistry with *everyone* than he does with Laurel, and vice versa; and it made both of their characters insufferable last year any time they acted off each other with that authorial pushing so obviously going on when it really wasn't working. I like them much better now that they're not trying to go there so obviously.
