Meme about me
Snagged from
willowfaerie2 the FIRST meme.
1. Who was your FIRST prom date?
I went with a friend to his prom, which was really more of a spring dance since he went to a small school and everyone went to prom, instead of my junior prom. I’m not sure we even danced, we mostly hung out and talked about Star Trek.
2. Do you still talk to your FIRST love?
No, lost touch a while ago.
3. What was your FIRST alcoholic drink?
Well, I’d had tastes of wine at various towing up, but a month or so after I turned 21 my younger sister declared it ridiculous that I still didn’t ever drink and made me buy some Hard Lemonade at least (I think I bought some other stuff, but she, her friend and a couple of my cousins drunk most everything else).
4. What was your FIRST job?
I babysat a few times as a kid. Although I’d only do it for kids who were at least in upper elementary school because even as a kid I didn’t like kids.
5. What was your FIRST car?
A Jeep Cherokee that had previously belonged to my parents (dad drove it a while, mom drove it a while) and went on to be my sister’s first car too. Not the best car in the world, but it got me where I needed to go.
6. Who was the FIRST person to text you today?
On 95% of days the answer would be no one. But this morning I got a random text telling me I was a random winner of something. I didn’t actually read it.
7. Who was your FIRST grade teacher, tell us about them?
Miss Lane. I think it was her first, maybe second year teaching when I had her. She was nice and fun. I remember I really loved her, but I can’t remember why exactly (I did have a tendency to develop really strong feelings for my teachers, and not all can I remember why).
8. Where did you go on your FIRST air plane ride?
I’m pretty sure I flew somewhere when I was too young to remember it. The first one I remember was going to Florida/Disneyworld when I was 13.
9. Who was your FIRST best friend & do you still talk?
My really first friend I barely remember, I moved away when I was five but I remember I had a best friend at the time. So no we don’t still talk. My first friend after we moved I also don’t talk to but that’s because we had a falling out in middle school that we never recovered from.
10. Where was your FIRST sleep over?
I don’t remember this one. My friends and I did sleepovers a fair amount when I was a kid.
11. Who was your FIRST kiss?
I refuse to answer this on the grounds that the answer is really embarrassing.
12. Whose wedding were you in the FIRST time?
I’ve never been in a wedding.
13. What was the FIRST thing you did this morning?
Pull out the computer and check my e-mail.
14. What was the FIRST concert you ever went to?
Depends on how you define concert. When I was young we used to go over the local motel/lounge and listen to a local guy play folk songs. Then I’m sure I saw performers on the various stages during the State Fair, since when I was a kid I loved going to the fair. And I’m sure we went to some of the local performance groups (university orchestra etc.) performing. My first big concert though was I think going to Weird Al when I was in middle school.
15. FIRST tattoo?
No tattoos
16. FIRST piercing?
No piercings, and I never have felt the desire to put extra holes in my body.
17. FIRST foreign country you went to?
Mexico, I was probably 10 or so and we basically walked across the border and back on day when we were in New Mexico (unless it was Arizona) for spring break. No passports or anything, but it counts for me.
18. FIRST movie you remember seeing?
No clue, I’d seen a lot of movies before I remember seeing anything so it all kind of blurs together.
19. When was your FIRST detention?
...I’m not sure I *ever* had detention, I wasboring not a troublemaker as a child.
20. Who was your FIRST roommate?
Not counting my sister (we shared a room until I was 8 or 9)? My freshman college roommate Melissa. We didn’t get along.
21. If you had one wish, what would it be?
Let’s borrow WF’s answer of happiness.
22. What is something you would learn if you had the chance?
To play a musical instrument. I’m completely tone deaf so it wouldn’t be pretty.
23. Did you marry the FIRST person to ask for your hand in marriage?
Seeing as no one has ever asked...
24. What was the FIRST sport that you were involved in?
I’m not sure if gymnastics of T-ball came first. It was one of those...probably.
25. What were the FIRST lessons you ever took outside of school?
I’m fairly sure I took some art classes early on.
26. What is the FIRST thing you do when you get home?
Often get something to drink (by which I mean water or soda, my answer to the alcoholic drink question should make it fairly clear that I don’t drink alcohol)
