Happy New Year everyone. Hope everyone made it through the holidays in one piece.

Copy and paste if you have enjoyed the blessing of meeting people online that you never would have met any other way. This is my end of the year shout out to the many friends I have never been in the same room with but who have inspired, amused, comforted, encouraged, and touched me in so many ways. I love you people! Here's to another year together.

And on a more fandomy note, this week's fannish5 seems doable.

Name your 5 fannish wishes for 2011.

1. For A Game of Thrones to be as awesome as the book. Hell it's be pretty awesome if it's half as good as the book.
2. PUBLISH A DANCE WITH DRAGONS DAMN-IT.
3. For Doctor Who to mean something again.
4. For Community to have a few more humanish episodes. I like the big set pieces most of the time but I think it needs to be balanced out with some more normal stories.
5. Same goes for Glee.

Personal fannish wishes/new years resolutions:

1. Make more vids, seriously I only made four this year, that is not enough.
2. Participate in and finish big bangs this year I have a lot of ideas.
3. Finish my Daniel/Rose 1sentence overview so I can start writing real stories about them for crossovers100.
4. Finish NaNoWriMo this November (not exactly fannish but in the neighborhood)
5. Iffy, but it might be time for me to set up a creative works journal, so I guess I resolve to think about it.

I support #5 on your personal goals very much! It really does sort of help me to separate stuff out, on my own creative works journal, and it's nice to have them all in one place where I can go through, without the interruption of others sorts of posts, just simply remind myself what I have and have not accomplished and it's fun to play around with. Though I'm not sure that any of those things would be your reasons.

#1 would also make me very happy.

What's Community about? I have heard of it but don't know anything about it.

#5 has been playing at my mind more and more often, and I think I've almost reached the stage where I believe it would would be a good idea. But I'm also lazy and actually doing it would take time.

re. #1 do you want a b-day vid this year and if so, what? I think you know which fandoms I'd be up for vidding in.

Community is set at a community college and about the wacky adventures of a Spanish study group (only sometimes involving Spanish class, and now not at all because after season 1 they were done with taking Spanish class but they stuck together). It's really awesome and funny with great characters so don't let my wishing it would change fool you. The big set pieces are often hysterical, I just feel like they're a little to frequent these days. You should watch it; and, being a sitcom only partway through its second season, it wouldn't take long to catch up.

I might check it out (Community, that is). Sounds like it might strike a cord.... or... accord.... I still am confused by that expression.

A birthday vid would be nice as I'm always touched by your videos, and if you'd like to take it as inspiration to do more, sure! But don't pressure yourself. I still greatly appreciate the fanvid you made for me, though I believe a redownload is in order as I think I had it on the external harddrive that needs to be fixed/replaced. v.v


You know pretty much what I'm into these days, too, so if you have any questions/coordination you'd like to do, feel free, but again, you're very sweet to offer and don't need to feel pressured to do anything for my birthday.

I don't think I can help on the a cord/accord thing, I'd pretty much let word tell me if I was doing it wrong. But Community is cool and I look forward to having it to talk to you about.

I'll get back to you in a bit about the b-day vid, I have one I want to make for me first, so you think if there's any things you really want until then.
