Alright, so in spite of my f-list telling me that Keith Olbermann is awesome over the past few months I haven't really sought anything out, but ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)

In fact I do have a few friends who are gay, not that we've spent much time talking about gay rights (haven't talked to them in a while really) but I want them, and all those that I don't know personally, to have the same rights as anyone. The same right to love and be loved and express that love in the way everyone else is allowed to. I guess I feel, I hope, that we are a better people than the bigotry and narrow mindedness expressed by too many people represents us as.
I want to believe that.
