Heroes first reaction
We now return to our weekly hour of gay and/or incestuous relationships, Heroes 2x01.
Yay, Heroes is back. And…I have very little idea what’s going on JUST LIKE NORMAL. Eighty five plot lines going on and they didn’t even have all the characters in the show this week.
The Bennets are still my favorites, though I got more of a thrill from Peter at the end than I would have thought (of it could just be that he’s shirtless).
Noah Bennet is awesome he just is, awesome in so very many ways. At first it was just a laugh that he actually did work in paper sales now, then he beat up his manager and I was reminded that this guy speaks probably ten languages and knows who-knows how many different ways of killing someone and that’s before you give him a weapon. And then he and Mohinder are working to bring down the Company and it is awesome.
Though I don’t think Claire has as good a chemistry with not-Zach as she did with Zach. They are risking retreading a bit of story here, but I suspect there will be several new elements. And even though Peter’s “dead” they still have inappropriate chemistry as far as I’m concerned.
The awkward Bennet family dinners are probably going to be a recurring theme this year. I think I support this.
Maya is Jean Baker from The 4400, and it is a sucky power to cause people to just die around you. At least here I don’t have to ponder the question of why the future people would give someone a power like that, it’s just a sucky step in evolution (kind of like Ted last year).
Nathan…look I keep trying to look away from the Petrelli-cest but you people are not making it easy. I don’t mind it, but I think it just keeps getting more and more about the gay incest.
Of course then there are Molly’s two dads. Matt is still not all that interesting though I do want to know what happened to Janice and fetus-Parkman (only four months later, probably still a fetus). And Mohinder’s story is shaping up to be awesome (it’s tied in with the Bennet’s, it probably will be).
Ando and Kaito (Sulu) got to be BFF for a while, that’s so sweet, after all Ando is basically his son in law, since Ando and Hiro basically got married last season right? Don’t die Kaito (Sulu) we still don’t even know what your power is (or Angela’s for that matter). Besides Hiro will be very sad if you die while he’s running around history.
Hiro, go save the village, obviously. Don’t make the Doctor have to save your ass, he’ll probably just leave it so the Daleks control everything still.
